This comes as the team’s four members, including Hoang Thi My Tam, Nguyen Thi Ngoan, Dinh Thi Huong, and Vang Thi Ngoc My, easily defeated Nepal before trouncing China in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, respectively.
Vietnam also bagged one silver medal in the women’s team, with Vang Thi Ngoc My bringing home another silver medal in the women’s 68kg kumite category.
Elsewhere, a bronze medal went to the men’s team.
