The rapid chess competition will be played over 12 rounds in a Swiss-system format, and the player with the highest overall score will be crowned the champion.

In contrast, the blitz portion of the tournament will begin with a round-robin Pool Stage. The top 16 teams from this stage will move on to the playoffs.
