Vietnam in second seed group for Asian women futsal championship finals
VOV.VN - The women’s national futsal squad have been placed in Pot 2, the second seed group, for the upcoming draw for the 2025 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Women's Futsal Asian Cup finals which is due to take place on February 6.
Vietnam are in Pot 2 together with Japan and Uzbekistan.
Meanwhile, Pot 1 includes the leading teams of Asia, including China, Thailand, and Iran.
Pot 3 features Indonesia, Taiwan (China), and Hong Kong (China). Pot 4 is made up of teams qualifying from the play-off round, including Bahrain, the Philippines, and Australia.
The AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup finals will be held between May 7 and May 18 in China. Iran go into the tournament as two-time defending champions.
The competition will serve as the qualifying stage for the inaugural 2025 FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup which will be held in the Philippines later this year.
