VOV.VN - General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President of Vietnam To Lam and his spouse hosted a welcoming ceremony in Hanoi on September 10 for General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith and his spouse who are on an official visit to Vietnam.

The welcoming ceremony for the Lao leader and his encourage takes place at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on September 10 morning.

This is the third time the Lao Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith has visited Vietnam.

To Lam invites Thongloun Sisoulith to the podium of honour to render the flag salute.

They then review the guard of honour.

After the welcoming ceremony, the two leaders move to the Party Central Committee’s Office for talks.

Residents of Hanoi capital line the street, waving flags and flowers to welcome the two leaders.

The two leaders pose for a photo ahead of their talks.

To Lam and Thongloun Sisoulith hold talks on measures to foster cooperative relations between the two parties and countries.

To Lam welcomes Thongloun Sisoulith’s visit which he believes will help further the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

Thongloun Sisoulith thanks Vietnam for providing strong support and assistance to Laos I the past and at present.
