VOV.VN - Thousands of people flocked to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi on September 2 as they came to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh on National Day.
Starting from early in the morning, people coming from different parts of the country form lines as they wait outside the mausoleum.
A huge number of people queue up as they form long lines waiting for their turn to enter the site.
Despite enduring spells of hot weather, visitors patiently line up at the gate of the Mausoleum on Ngoc Ha street to express their gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh.
President Ho Chi Minh devoted his entire life to fight for the cause of national independence and freedom.
The Mausoleum is located at Ba Dinh Square is where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2nd, 1945, proclaiming the country’s independence and the foundation of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
