VOV.VN - The Ministry of National Defence hosted a ceremony on September 24 at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi to see off 247 Vietnamese officers who will carry out UN peacekeeping missions in South Sudan and the Abyei area.

A total of 247 Vietnamese officers, including 63 officers from the Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 6 and 184 officers from Engineering Unit Rotation 3, will undertake the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) and the UN Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA).
