VOV.VN - Vietnam will compete in Group B alongside Laos and Cambodia at the fifth ASEAN U-23 Championship, following the draw announced by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) on May 30.
Group A features Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Brunei, while Group C includes Thailand, Myanmar, and Timor Leste.
The teams will play in a round-robin format, with the top three teams from each group and the best second-placed team advancing to the semifinals.
The tournament, showcasing ASEAN’s emerging talents, is scheduled from July 15 to July 31 in Indonesia.
Having won consecutive titles in 2022 and 2023, Vietnam remains the most successful team in the tournament’s history after four editions.
