VOV.VN - A welcome ceremony hosted by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh for his New Zealand counterpart Christopher Luxon was held at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on February 26.
The trip coincides with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations (June 19, 1975 – June 19, 2025) and celebrates five years of strategic partnership.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his New Zealand counterpart Christopher Luxon stand on the podium while military bands play the national anthems of both nations.
The two leaders review the guards of honour of the Vietnamese People's Army.
Following the ceremony, they proceed to the Government Office for official talks.
This marks Prime Minister Christopher Luxon's first official visit to Vietnam since taking office.
