Vietnam shines at Singha Thailand Junior World Golf Championships 2025

VOV.VN - The Singha Thailand Junior World Golf Championships 2025 has concluded with proud achievements for Vietnam’s young golfers.

The Vietnamese delegation featured 18 athletes competing in a highly competitive field alongside international talents.

Fourteen-year-old golfer Nguyen Viet Gia Han stood out by winning the B Girl category with a total score of +2 (74-72-72), four strokes ahead of runner-up Ploychanok Suwanjaksri of Thailand. Thanks to consistent performances from Gia Han and Than Bao Nghi, Vietnam also secured third place in the girls’ team event.

In the boys’ events, Nguyen Thai Son claimed the runner-up position in the D Boy category, while the duo Nguyen Trong Hoang and Do Duong Gia Minh finished third in the boys’ team competition.

The Singha Thailand Junior World Golf Championships not only serve as a competitive platform but also offer young athletes valuable experience, resilience, and motivation to tackle greater challenges.

Following the tournament, many Vietnamese golfers will return home to participate in the sixth stage of the 2025 VGA Junior Tour at Silk Path Dong Trieu Golf & Country Clubin in northern Quang Ninh province on November 8-9.
