VOV.VN - In Warszawa, Poland, a large number of overseas Vietnamese have come together for a parade, presenting the rich colours and exquisite designs of traditional Vietnamese attire in celebration of the fatherland's 80th National Day.
The event, jointly organised by the Vietnamese Embassy, the Vietnamese Women's Association and Vietnamese community organisations in Poland, aims to introduce the country's culture to international friends while fostering pride and connection across generations.
Addressing the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai affirms that the parade not only honours Ao Dai, the traditional costume of Vietnam, but also provides a chance for Vietnamese expats to express theỉ love for the homeland.
The programme marks the launch of the Ao Dai parade for Vietnamese women in major European cities, an initiative of the Vietnamese Women’s Union in Europe. It aims to affirm national pride, foster solidarity within the overseas Vietnamese community, and promote the beauty of Vietnam to international friends.
