VOV.VN - The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi welcomed thousands of guests as people flocked to celebrate National Day on September 2.
From early in the morning people coming from different parts of the country form lines to wait outside the mausoleum.
At the gate to the Mausoleum on Ngoc Ha street, thousands queue up in long lines waiting for their turn to enter the site.
Despite the blazing sunshine, visitors flock to the Mausoleum to express their gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, an individual who devoted his entire life to the cause of national independence and freedom.
The Mausoleum is located at Ba Dinh Square where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2nd, 1945, proclaiming the country’s independence and the foundation of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Some visitors pose for a photo as they save memories of the special occasion.
