VOV.VN - In the latest update on the capsizing of the QN-7105 tourist boat in Ha Long Bay, northern Quang Ninh province, rescue teams have found 35 bodies and rescued 10 survivors, while the vessel has been successfully raised to the surface and four people remain missing.
The provincial police’s investigation agency is now conducting an on-site forensic examination, working with relevant individuals and organizations, including survivors, and coordinating with the victims’ families to identify and verify the recovered bodies as part of the ongoing investigation.
As of 8:00 a.m on July 20, relevant agencies had completed the necessary procedures and handed over the bodies of 31 victims to their families for transport and burial in their hometowns. The Quang Ninh provincial administration has provided financial assistance and vehicles to support the families.
The 10 survivors are currently being treated at Quang Ninh General Hospital and Bai Chay Hospital. Their conditions have been reported as stable.
