VOV.VN - The police in the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong have launched their annual programme “Accompanying Road Users.” providing free water, cooling towels, snacks, motorbike repair services, and fuel for people on their journey home to celebrate the Lunar New Year festival (Tet) with their family.
It has become a tradition that every year, as Tet approaches, along with their efforts to ensure security, order, and traffic safety, the Dak Nong Police set up stations to distribute free drinking water, cooling towels, and food to motorbike travelers heading home for the holiday.
This meaningful gesture not only supports people during their long and often tiring journeys but also highlights the compassion and dedication of the police force.
The timely assistance bring great comfort to motorbike travelers as they pass through Dak Nong province.
Healthcare workers are on hand to provide health checks and care for those who fall ill or feel exhausted during their long journey home for Tet.
This year, the programme is being implemented at two locations, with one at the Cai Chanh Toll Station in Dak Ru Commune from January 23 to 28 (the 24th to the 29th of the 12th lunar month).
The second location is at the Toll Station in Dak Gan Commune from February 1 to 3 (the 4th to the 6th of the first lunar month).
The police have also established mobile support teams operating around the clock along the Ho Chi Minh Highway section passing through Dak Nong. These teams are ready to assist travelers in case of any incidents or emergencies on the road.
