VOV.VN - The 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2024) themed “Made in Unity – Radiant on Five Continents” was launched in Da Nang city, central Vietnam on June 8 evening. Let’s watch Vietnam’s spectacular fireworks display over the Han River at the opening ceremony.
Vietnam are one of the two teams putting on their performance alongside defending champions France at the opening ceremony. In the photo are members of the Vietnamese team.
The Da Nang fireworks team representing Vietnam give their performance themed “Dance of the Sky”, making a strong impression on viewers.
They use 4,700 multi-effect fireworks, including many high-altitude fireworks to light up the night sky of Da Nang.
Having acquired the performing experience for more than a decade, the Vietnamese team deliver a stunning performance.
Their display performed on music comprises three chapters: Power – Harmony – Prosperity.

Each fireworks display creates brilliant colours in the night sky of Da Nang.
The display symbolizes the development and sublimation of the beautiful coastal city, as well as the hospitality of the people of Da Nang.

When the music reaches its climax, the fireworks explode, radiating light wider and brighter than ever.
Viewers become overwhelmed and excited when final fireworks explode continuously, interweaving hundreds of light effects at the same time.
DIFF 2024 is scheduled to take place in Da Nang from June 8 to July 13.
The festival this year has attracted eight participating teams from France, Italy, the United States, Germany, Poland, China, Finland, and Vietnam. The United States, Germany, and China are the newcomers.
This year’s festival themed “Made in Unity – Radiant on Five Continents” conveys the message of a world of peace, friendship, and humanity. It honours values that inspire the community.
After Vietnam and France, Italy and USA will make their performances on June 15, Germany and Poland on June 22, and China and Finland on June 29. Two teams scoring the most points will put on their performance on the final night on July 13.
This year, the champions will receive US$20,000, a trophy and a certificate, while the runner-up team receives US$10,000, trophy and certificate.
DIFF 2024 will continue to have the Most Favourite award voted by the audience, with a prize of US$5,000, trophy and certificate.
This is the 12th time the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival has been held on the banks of the Han River. The festival has become a magnet to attract tourists to Da Nang, helping the local tourism industry make a spectacular breakthrough after COVID-19.
