VOV.VN - The Vietnamese team secured a silver medal in the 25m men’s pistol event on the final day of the 16th Asian Championship Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun held in Kazakhstan on August 29.
With strong performances from the squad, Vietnam finished second overall in the event with 1,720 points, behind India, who took gold with 1,733 points, and ahead of Iran in third with 1,700 points.
In the overall medal table, Vietnam placed sixth, securing two gold, four silver, and five bronze medals, while India topped the rankings with 50 gold, 26 silver, and 23 bronze medals.
