PM Chinh on the afternoon of October 27 meets with officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in the UAE within the framework of his official visit to the Middle Eastern country.
Later the same day the Government leader hosts a reception for Yusuff Ali Musaliam Veettil Abdul Kader, chairman and managing director of LuLu Group International, in Abu Dhabi. The Lulu Group leader shares that the company will co-ordinate efforts with Vietnamese agencies to organise goods fairs for Vietnamese products in the UAE and in Gulf countries, meaning that consumers can enjoy greater access to Vietnamese products.
The Government chief receives leaders of several leading corporations in the UAE, including Wagih Salem, chairman of Prime Group Tamer; Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, managing director and group CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports Group; Niels De Bruijn, CEO of NMDC Energy; and Khaled Al Shemeili, CEO of Emirates Driving Company.
Also, on the afternoon of October 27, PM Chinh attends a ceremony to launch VinFast vehicles in the UAE. VinFast's presence in the UAE to introduce EV models not only demonstrates the vision of a pioneering enterprise, but also clearly shows Vietnam's determination and desire to rise, he notes.
At a meeting held with UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri on the morning of October 28, the Vietnamese leader suggests that both sides realise bilateral agreements, especially the to-be-signed Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) which seeks to reach the goal of US$10 billion in two-way trade at an early date.
PM Chinh has affirmed the nation’s recognition of the importance of expanding investment co-operation with the Middle East, in which the UAE is one of the top focuses, during a reception of UAE Minister of Investment Mohamed Bin Hassan Alsuwaidi. At the function, PM Chinh hopes the UAE, with its experience in developing the Dubai and Abu Dhabi financial centres, will support the Vietnamese side in forming a suitable policy framework and model.
UAE President Al Nahyan hosts an official welcome ceremony with a 21-cannon salute at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi on the morning of October 28 for PM Chinh, his spouse, and a high-ranking delegation of Vietnam.

The visit, the first of its kind of by a Vietnamese PM over the past 15 years, is taking place amid bilateral relations developing well across all fields, especially politics, diplomacy, trade, investment, labour, and tourism.
The Vietnamese government leader and President Al Nahyan agree to elevate the bilateral relationship to a comprehensive partnership at their closed-door talks in Abu Dhabi on October 28.

The Vietnamese Government chief visits and delivers a policy speech at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) in Abu Dhabi on the morning of October 29. Addressing the audience of 200 students, professors, UAE government officials, and diplomatic representatives, PM Chinh shares insights on the current global and regional landscapes. This is along with the Vietnamese side’s foundational factors, development perspectives, achievements, and future directions; a vision for the Vietnam-UAE Comprehensive partnership; and Vietnam’s relations with the Middle East over the coming years.
Reviewing the efforts of both countries for the Vietnam-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber hopes to promote co-operation in multiple fields, especially in the energy sectors with oil refinery and liquefied natural gas (LNG) and renewable energy. During a meeting with PM Chinh on October 29, he also proposes building a warehouse centre in the nation as a means to respond to the product demand for the whole region.
At the meeting held with the Vietnamese Government leader, Sheikh Hamad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), wishes to continue expanding relations and investment with the Vietnamese side, affirming ADIA's strategy of investing with long-term commitments.
The Vietnamese leader receives Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Buti Al Hamed, CEO of Mubadala Energy, in Abu Dhabi on October 29, urging the group to step up its investment activities and serve as a bridge for UAE investors, as well as foreign investors, to engage in the Vietnamese market. The key areas of focus include transport infrastructure, climate change response, digital infrastructure, urban infrastructure, traditional energy sectors like oil and gas, and renewable energy.
