VOV.VN - Phu Quoc island, a famous tourist destination in Vietnam’s southern Kien Giang province, has been spotlighted on Channel News Asia's (CNA) website as one of Top 25 Travel Destinations in the world for 2025.
The Singaporean media outlet shortlisted 25 places worth travelling to by gathering insight from numerous experts; unpacking lifestyle trends; identifying cultural milestones; as well as looking at new flights, hotels, trains, and cruises that collectively work as a pull factor to a particular destination.
In eighth position, Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s largest island, is praised for its stunning beaches, lush mountain landscapes, and unspoiled forests teeming with diverse flora and fauna. The island also offers an array of activities for nature enthusiasts.
Its accessibility through direct flights and the availability of accommodations catering to all budgets, from budget-friendly stays to luxurious five-star hotels, makes Phu Quoc an attractive and versatile travel destination.
Jo Hendry Prior, co-founder of Alchemist Travel, shared that Phu Quoc has endless options, making it an amazing option for a beach escape from Singapore, the Singaporean travel website quoted.
Amsterdam of the Netherlands took the lead. Housed in the former Palace of Justice, the country’s first-ever Rosewood is located in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Canal District and overlooks Prinsengracht, one of the city’s most beautiful waterways, according to CNA.
Other spots to make the top 10 places include the Northern Territories (Australia), Rome (Italy), Koh Samui (Thailand), La Paz (Bolivia), Osaka (Japan), Casablanca (Morocco), Antarctica, Greenland, and Cairo (Egypt).
