VOV.VN - Representatives from 20 travel companies of the Republic of Korea (RoK) joined a famtrip delegation to the central province of Quang Binh on December 19 to explore tourism products originating from the central region.

During their two-day stay, the delegation made field trips to a number of tourist attractions in Quang Binh such as Thien Duong cave, Phong Nha cave, Dark cave, Chay river, and Quang Phu sand dunes.

They also experienced a range of new tourism services, accommodations, and enjoyed sampling traditional Vietnamese traditional.

Furthermore, the Quang Binh Department of Tourism also organised meetings between local businesses and the delegation to discuss potential collaborations and develop tailored tour products for Korean visitors from Seoul, Busan, and other regions in the RoK.

The two sides agreed to build tourism products and programmes for tourists from Seoul and Busan in particular, as well as the RoK in general, during their trips to Quang Binh province.

This initiative offers an excellent opportunity for travel agencies to design tourism programs connecting Quang Binh with the Korean market, particularly targeting MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism, golf tourism, and luxury resort tourism. It is expected to pave the way for increasing Korean visitor arrivals to Quang Binh in 2025.

Over the past 11 months, Vietnam welcomed more than 15.8 million foreign tourists, reflecting an impressive annual growth rate of 41%. The RoK topped the list with 4.1 million visitors, accounting for 26.1% of the total number of foreign arrivals.
