VOV.VN - Since the morning of January 30, the second day of the Lunar New Year (Tet), the Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway has suffered long periods of congestion, making it difficult for vehicles to move.
The eastern gateway of Ho Chi Minh City is jammed with vehicles on January 30.
Since early in the morning, the car lane on Mai Chi Tho street leading to the Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway is partially congested.
The road leading towards Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway is also jammed.
People are tired when moving on the packed road.
Vehicles line up as they form a long queue on the expressway.
On the second day of Tet, most people who stayed in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate Tet tend to return back to their hometowns to visit their relatives or to go on vacation.
The intersection between Mai Chi Tho and Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway is packed on the way out of the southern city.
