VOV.VN - As the lunar New Year holiday (Tet) comes, border guards in the northern region join hands with ethnic communities to prepare for Tet, helping local people enjoy a happy Tet and strengthen the deep bond between the military and the people.
The border district of Muong Te in Lai Chau province welcomes an early spring with the national flag vividly displayed across villages.
Sin Chai B, a highland border village about 19 km from the center of Pa Ve Su Commune, Muong Te District, is home to 56 households with more than 260 residents, primarily of the La Hu ethnic group.
To celebrate the upcoming Year of the Snake, border guards and local authorities organize a spring programme to help local ethnic people enjoy a happy holiday.
