Swimmer Vi Thi Hang has brought a bronze medal for the Vietnamese team at the ongoing 4th Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China.
In the women's S7 100m freestyle event, Hang crossed the finish line in third place with a time of 1 minute 20.58 seconds, earning the bronze medal for the Vietnamese sports delegation on the day.
Chinese athlete Jiang Yuyan and her compatriot Ke Liting were the first and second to complete the swimming race in 1 minute 11.53 seconds and 1 minute 18.56 seconds, respectively, claiming the gold and silver medals.
Earlier, weightlifter Dang Thi Linh Phuong clinched a silver for Vietnam in the women's under-50kg category.
As of 7 PM on October 24, Vietnam had secured one silver and three bronze medals in weightlifting and swimming.
