15,000 households in Quang Binh affected by flooding

VOV.VN - The central province of Quanh Binh witnessed heavy rains triggered by Storm Trami on October 28, causing flooding for about 15,000 households in Le Thuy, Quang Ninh, and Bo Trach districts.
According to details given by the local authorities of these districts, they have been forced to evacuate over 150 households from dangerous areas to safe locations due to rising flood water.
Nearly 400 households in Le Thuy are left isolated after three national roads 9B, 9C, and 15D were deeply flooded.
Reports from local authorities state that the area faced high rainfall of up to 500mm to 700 mm on October 27.

Heavy rains inundate many sections of the North-South railway through Le Thuy district of Quang Binh province and Vinh Linh district of Quang Tri province. Many trains are stuck at Dong Hoi and Dong Ha stations, thereby forcing passengers to continue their journey by car.
Meanwhile, downpours and powerful winds uproot several trees and flooded some areas in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue.
When the storm pounds the locality, it blows away ad billboards along some streets and lots of parts of the province are left without power.
The typhoon forces Thua Thien-Hue to evacuate over 4,400 households with 18,300 people, according to the provincial steering board for disaster prevention, search, and rescue.
