VOV.VN - Budget airline VietJet Air on September 14 welcomed new wide-body A330 aircraft with registration VN-A820, bringing its airline’s total fleet to 121 aircraft, including those operated by Vietjet Thailand and Vietjet Kazakhstan.
This marks a significant milestone, affirming Vietjet’s sustainable growth capacity in its global network expansion strategy, ready to meet the travel demands of passengers and tourists ahead of the year-end peak season.
According to the airline’ official website, the A330 aircraft, equipped with the state-of-the-art Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engine, will be put into operation on routes to Australia, Kazakhstan, India, Japan and Europe.
With a modern fleet and more than 400 new aircraft ordered from Airbus and Boeing through 2030, Vietjet aims to expand its network and apply advanced technology to optimise operational efficiency, thereby enhancing sustainable value for investors and delivering safe, memorable journeys to passengers worldwide.
Earlier, in April, Vietjet also welcomed new Airbus A321neo ACF aircraft with registration number VN-A516, which is the latest addition to its fleet of 117 modern aircraft.
