VOV.VN - Nguyen Thai Binh street in Ho Chi Minh City has been ranked 11th among the 39 coolest neighbourhoods in the world this year by UK-based travel magazine Time Out.
At first glance, Nguyen Thai Binh may look like any other bustling Vietnamese street, with workshops, motorbikes and simmering pots of soup. But the neighbourhood rewards those willing to look deeper, the magazine wrote.
Time Out recommends visitors explore world-class restaurants, hidden speakeasies and authentic American War memorabilia tucked away in vintage markets.
The area’s transformation is most evident in the quality of its newcomers. Leonardo has quickly earned a reputation as one of the city’s best pizzerias despite opening less than a year ago, while on the edge of the district, ÔMM Mixology has been hailed as Ho Chi Minh City’s top new bar.
Adding to its appeal, acclaimed restaurant Noriboi Omakase relocated here earlier this year from a pricier location, a move Time Out described as confirmation of Nguyen Thai Binh’s growing pull.
