VOV.VN - More than 8,335 traffic accidents occurred during the past nine months of this year, killing 4,765 people and injuring 5,802 others, with road crashes being a leading cause of death in the nation, according to the National Traffic Safety Committee.
A 16-seat minibus traveling for medical examinations crashes with a heavy goods vehicle in Nui Thanh district at 4 a.m. on February 14. The death toll from the accident in the central province of Quang Nam is up to 10.
Five people die and 10 others are injured at 2:10 a.m. in the northern province of Lang Son in a serious accident on a national highway between a 16-seat passenger coach, a semi-trailer, and a container truck.
