VOV.VN - As many as 566 officers of Ho Chi Minh City's Southeast Mobile Police Regiment have arrived in Hanoi to begin preparations for a grand military parade and civic procession marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2025).
The Mobile Police Command under the Ministry of Public Security receives 566 officers of Ho Chi Minh City's Southeast Mobile Police Regiment in Hanoi on July 3 as they gather to commence training for the coming National Day parade.
At around 9 a.m. on July 3, a train carrying hundreds of service members arrives in the capital, signaling the start of their intensive preparation for the historic celebration.
The disembarkation is conducted in an orderly and efficient manner, ensuring smooth operations at the station without disrupting other passengers or the train.
The officers are greeted with a warm welcome from the Mobile Police Command, reflecting the significance of their role in the upcoming event.
The journey is carried out in two separate trains, transporting the full contingent of 566 personnel from the southern region to Hanoi.
Upon arrival, the officers travel to a training facility in Chuong My district, where they will begin drill rehearsals.
The grand celebration is scheduled to take place on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, featuring a massive military parade with participation from thousands of troops and civilians.
Since June, thousands of officers and soldiers from across the country have been boarding trains to the capital to take part in the preparations.
Despite the long and tiring journey, the officers express enthusiasm and pride in fulfilling their duties for this important national occasion.
Upon arrival, they are cheered and greeted with national flags, underscoring the patriotic spirit leading up to the celebration.
This event marks the second large-scale military parade of the year, following the Reunification Day celebrations held on April 30.
