VOV.VN - Over 40 households living along the Red River of Chuong Duong ward in Hoan Kiem district of Hanoi have now returned home and aim to stabilise their lives after being heavily impacted by typhoon Yagi and its subsequent flooding.
During the previous week the Red River flooded in Hanoi to reach 10.54 metres, exceeding the level two alarm by 0.04 metres, with it forecast to continue rising. The risk of flooding and landslides in riverside areas is therefore very high.

Locals seek to repair household items for re-using and saving costs.
Residents expect to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives following the historic flooding.
