VOV.VN - Both local residents and foreigners alike flocked to the 2024 international food festival held on December 7 and December 8 in Hanoi to sample delicacies and enjoy unique performances from over 60 countries and territories around the world.

Addressing the opening ceremony on December 8, Vu Thi Bich Ngoc, the spouse of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, said the event helps to promote the nation’s rich culture and people to international friends whilst providing a chance for domestic businesses to introduce their brands, products, and services.

The 2024 international food festival opens with the theme of "Gastronomy of Unity" and draws the participation of 45 foreign embassies, foreign representative agencies, and units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as 18 localities nationwide. The occasion offers the opportunity to showcase traditional and exotic foods from various countries and territories worldwide.
