The annual event themed “Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City” will feature a range of captivating performances and a tourism fair, with over 100 booths showcasing plenty of tourism and culinary delights.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism at a press conference held on March 26, the event aims to promote local tourism links, alongside showcasing the city’s array of unique traditions and cultural attractions.

In addition to a range of tourist products and services provided by localities nationwide and travel firms in Ho Chi Minh City, the exhibition and art spaces will provide visitors with a variety of art performances and folk games to enjoy, including painting on pebbles, bags and papers, and walking on stilts.

During the four-day event, a workshop on tourism connectivity and a job fair will be organised.

About 190,000 visitors participated in last year’s festival, and the figure is expected to rise by 10% this year.
