VOV.VN - The 20th "Hanoi in My Heart" exhibition opened at the Temple of Literature on October 8, showcasing 80 photographs that vividly capture the image of a modern and innovative capital on its journey of development.
Jointly held by the Kinh te & Do thi (Economics and Urban) newspaper, the Hanoi Elderly Photographers Club and the Temple of Literature, the event is part of activities marking the 71st anniversary of the city’s Liberation Day (October 10).
Attending the opening ceremony are Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung, along with many artists, reporters, and photographers.
This activity aims to foster love for the capital and contribute to creating a cultural meeting space in the heart of Hanoi.
Eighty works reflecting a vibrant and evolving Hanoi in a new era of development are on display.
Gary Anderson from the UK shares that he really likes the exhibition as the photos are vivid, and show the dynamism of the city, and the friendliness of Hanoians. An Indian tourist group say that they are very impressed by the exhibition. They find the photos capturing National Day celebrations magnificent, reflecting the strong patriotic spirit of the Vietnamese people. They also praise the photo of Long Bien Bridge adorned with yellow flowers, calling it especially beautiful.
The exhibition attracts both locals and tourists.
The exhibition is divided into two sections, with one highlighting Hanoi’s efforts to operate a smooth and effective two-tier local government system, and the other focusing on the 18th Hanoi Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term — a significant milestone in the new era.
The exhibition’s photos capture Hanoi’s transformation over time, showcasing scenes from both the past and present through the eyes of photographers.
