VOV.VN - Peruvian Gastronomic Week kicked off on October 24, with the occasion providing a chance to explore and indulge in the enticing flavors of traditional dishes prepared by a professional Peruvian chef in Hanoi.
The six-day event offers a unique opportunity for businesses, F&B representatives, and culinary enthusiasts in the capital as they delve into the South American nation’s potential for further development whilst simultaneously indulging in the flavours of traditional dishes, cocktails, and the exquisite taste of Peruvian specialty coffee.
The culinary week is jointly organised by the Embassy of Peru in Vietnam in collaboration with A Au Vocational Guidance and the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel and will last through to October 29. It is one part of activities being held to celebrate the 29th anniversary of Vietnam-Peru diplomatic ties.
A talented performance put on by chef José María Murga Brescia helps visitors to discover the rich heritage of the South American country through a delightful exploration of history, culture, and taste.
A Peru-Vietnam culinary fusion demonstration brings a wonderful experience for visitors to enjoy.
Participants have the chance to experience the enticing array of flavours of famous dishes prepared by the famous Peruvian chef.
The Embassy of Peru in Vietnam also introduces Peruvian coffee products, spices, food, and beverages to visitors.
Since 2012 the World Travel Awards organisation has nominated Peru 10 times on the list of the world's top culinary tourism destinations, with the South American country also being honoured in the category of top culinary tourism destination in the region.
In 2022, the South American nation brought home the title of world's leading culinary destination for the fourth time.
