Da Lat’s inclusion in the top five most affordable destinations reflects Vietnam’s rising profile as a cost-effective yet enriching travel option, said Vu Ngoc Lam, Agoda Vietnam country director.

Topping the list is Surabaya (Indonesia), followed by Tirupati (India) and Hat Yai (Thailand) with average room rates of VND972,000 and VND1,025,000 per night, respectively.

Other destinations on the list include Iloilo (Philippines), Kuching (Malaysia), Nagoya (Japan), Kaohsiung (Taiwan/China), and Daejeon (Republic of Korea).
