Established by the Ministry of Public Security in March 2021, the Cavalry Mobile Police Corps under the Mobile Police Command are tasked with fighting crime and ensuring security and order.
To use horses, they actively coordinate with experts in taming and training the animal.
The police officers, armed with AK guns, walkie-talkies and batons, march slowly along the pedestrian street.
Horses equipped for the Cavalry Mobile Police Corps are said to be imported from Mongolia.
The horses are tamed in a way that they are fully capable of adapting to different situations.
The force can be used for controlling unruly demonstrations, especially in areas where normal vehicles cannot be used.
The horses can be used for patrols or rescue work in mountainous areas.
