Hai Thuong Lan Ong street is an attractive destination among locals of Ho Chi Minh City when the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 is drawing near.
The street boasts nearly 100 shops selling lanterns and festive accessories. The place is full of people visiting to snap photos, purchase lanterns, explore the vibrant atmosphere, and have fun, especially between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
From the seventh lunar month, many shops are busy displaying a variety of colourful toys.
Coming to the street these days, anyone can feel an atmosphere of busy trading.
Shops there display both traditional and modern decorative items and toys for children to celebrate the full-moon festival.
Lanterns come in different sizes, shapes, and materials, ranging from VND40,000 to VND200,000 per piece.
The prices of mini lanterns hover between VND20,000 to VND25,000 each.
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the full moon festival, is one of the largest celebrations in Vietnam. Although the festival was originally started just for children, it has now become an occasion for everyone to enjoy.
Shop owners set up beautiful backgrounds in order to provide check-in spots for visitors.
