VOV.VN - Worshippers, monks, and nuns across Ho Chi Minh City took part in a parade carrying a statue of Buddha on May 15 to mark the occasion of the Buddha’s Birthday.

The parade started at 8 p.m. on May 15 as Buddhists accompany monks carrying a Buddha's statue for one km from An Quang Pagoda to Vietnam Quoc Tu Pagoda in District 10.
The activity is one of several of its kind held by Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ho Chi Minh City throughout the week to celebrate the 2,568th Buddha’s Birthday.

Lots of vehicles also stop on streets in Ho Chi Minh City for the participants of the parade to cross.
