VOV.VN - An Lao district in the south-central province of Binh Dinh is widely considered a miniature Da Lat which offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture, contemplate beautiful scenery, and savor the cuisine of both the Bana and H'Re ethnic people.
An Lao is a mountainous district of Binh Dinh province which is situated 32km far from National Highway 1A and more than 120km from Quy Nhon city’s centre. Known as a miniature Da Lat, the year-round climate is cool whilst the place is often covered by clouds.
An Lao district accommodates 31,000 people and is home to three distinct ethnic groups - the Bana, the H'Re, and the Kinh. The residential areas of these communities feature traditional stilt houses, providing visitors with a glimpse into their way of life.
