According to the results, Hieu recorded an impressive victory as he successfully surpassed his Cambodian rival with a sprint at the end to win with a time of 53 minutes and five seconds.

Elsewhere, local cyclist Dang Van Phap finished third in the competition.

The bicycle race saw the participation of 45 athletes and took place on the sidelines of activities aimed at welcoming the first parliamentary summit of Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam.

The purpose of the event is to promote the regional sports movement, people-to-people exchanges, and the close friendship that exists among the three countries.
